Italian ingredients are seasonal and have regional variations. for example, the north contributed Tuscan beef, which is a pork, and Parma contributed dairy products. Naples, especially gave creamy Mozzarella with Pomo D'Oro (Golden Apple known as tomatoes) and created the world famous pie which is now known as pizza worldwide.
